Superbowl interlude: Who ya pickin?

Jean, correct me if I’m wrong, lightening does not strike the SAME PLACE twice. But the game is in New England so the Chargers do have a shot. But with all due respect to nice guy Norv Turner and his “Aw shucks, country bumpkin” smile, the Chargers will likely come up short as in short-circuit, especially with a back-up QB manning the helm. I was shocked (pardon the pun again) that Payton and the Colts lost.

This must be the championship game nightmare for Al Davis of the Raiders. He is seeing former Raiders that he trashed play in these games right in front of his eyes. Let’s see – we got bad boy “Quitman” Randy Moss from New England Patriots, then “Aw shucks, country bumpkin” Norv Turner with the San Diego Chargers and then we have Charles “Wood” Woodson from the Green Bay Packers. The only way that Al Davis can escape looking like a fool for letting these guys go is if the New York Giants wins the Super Bowl! Guess Big Al is rooting for the New York Giants.
